  2. DYNAMIC GRAPHICS USER'S GUIDE

  5. BASIC REQUIREMENTS
  6. ------------------

  8. Dynamic Graphics images require application(s) that are compatible
  9. with EPS file formats. EPS images are saved as Adobe Illustrator 1.1 
  10. files. Any other hardware requirements will be based primarily on 
  11. the applications you use and the type of final output you plan to 
  12. produce. For best results, your printer should be 
  13. PostScript compatible.
  14.  
  15. All documentation assumes you have a basic understanding of how to 
  16. use your computer and the programs you have purchased for it.

  18. USING THE CLIP ART
  19. ------------------
  20. ** PAGE LAYOUT PROGRAMS **
  21. Open your page layout program, create a new document and place the 
  22. EPS file as you would any other pictures. The following 
  23. page layout programs are compatible with the EPS file format:
  24.  *Adobe PageMaker
  25.  *QuarkXpress
  26.  *Corel Publisher
  27.  
  28. ** DRAW PROGRAMS **
  29. Open your draw program, then Open or Import the EPS file. These 
  30. images can be manipulated like any other EPS image. The following 
  31. draw programs are compatible with the EPS file format:
  32.  *Adobe Illustrator
  33.  *MacroMedia FreeHand
  34.  *Arts & Letters (Use Decipher to convert EPS to GED)
  35.  *Corel Draw! 
  36.  *Microgrfx Designer
  37.  
  38. If your application was not listed above, please refer to your 
  39. manual for compatibility.
